OpenFX is available in either binary distributions (which are compiled versions which only work one one platform), or the source code itself. If you download the source code version, you will not be able to run it out of the box unless you have a suitable set of build tools.

 Binary Distributions

OpenFX-2.0, Windows 9x/NT/2000/XP

The full binary distribution, complete with sample models, animations and textures is around 44 megabytes, and available from:
